What Works Clearinghouse nets A&O Attention from Colleges and Universities

Sep 2 2015

A&O’s role as the independent evaluator for the federal First in the World grant awarded to SUNY Oswego has gotten the attention of other higher education institutions. The evaluation of this multi-year, multi-million dollar project was designed to meet the rigorous standards of the national What Works Clearinghouse for education programs. Applicants in the current funding round have invited A&O to design evaluation plans for their projects because the rigor of the evaluation is critical to a successful proposal. Whether or not a proposal is funded the quality of an A&O evaluation plan consistently earns full points for applicants. “Our evaluation expertise strengthens the project design by helping the client to focus on outcomes,” says Cynthia O’Connor. “Our collaborative approach is a hallmark of A&O’s work.”
